Launched in 1984, the Chinese Journal of Engineering Mathematics (CJEM) is the first academic periodical in China which promotes the application of mathematics to problems from engineering and applied sciences. It is the association journal of the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM), is headed by Ministry of Education, China, and is jointly hosted by CSIAM and Xi’an Jiaotong University. CJEM is a comprehensive academic journal which emphasizes the intrinsic unity of mathematical theory and methods with information science, modern industry and high-technologies. It aims at publishing timely innovative mathematic papers with strong application backgrounds. CJEM pays special attentions to the application of mathematical theory and methods in various fields such as industrial technology, information science, management science, quantitative economics and social developments. The scopes of CJEM include, but not limited to, the following areas: the successful application of mathematical methods in above-mentioned areas, the mathematical modeling and numerical solution of real problems, the interdisciplinary researches of applied mathematics, as well as review articles. CJEM publishes bimonthly. Except for 6 regular issues, a supplementary issue is dedicated to the award-winning excellent papers from the China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling each year. Both Chinese and English papers are welcome. With its broad coverage, CJEM has important influences in academic and industrial fields nationally. According to the statistical data of Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, in terms of the impact factor and the non-self-cited rate, the Chinese Journal of Engineering Mathematics has been the top-ranked journal among relevant periodicals in China. You are welcome to submit your papers to the Chinese Journal of Engineering Mathematics.
